Industrial Tank Terminal Pumps
Roto’s Gear Pumps and Twin Screw Pumps are Positive Displacement pumps that are used as Tank Terminal Pumps. While Roto’s Twin Screw Pumps are known to handle clean, lubricating, non-lubricating as well as aggressive liquids, the Gear Pumps can effectively handle thinner to thicker & even corrosive liquids with lesser or no lubrication.
Roto’s Twin Screw Pumps consists of two screw spindles in a closed compartment. Each Screw Spindles is either left-handed or right-handed. When the spindles start rotating, the liquid is drawn towards the end of the screw spindles. The liquid is then propelled axially from both ends towards the centre which nullifies the axial thrust and enables the screw spindles to remain in a state of hydraulic balance. The double profile of these pumps contributes to higher volumetric efficiency and further enhances the overall efficiency.
- Capacity up to 940 m³/hr
- Pressure up to 30 bar
- Viscosity up to 1,00,000 cst
With its innovative design, Roto’s external Gear Pumps are compact and ensure longer service life. These pumps have four piece construction that easily handles corrosive liquids. These pumps can be customised to meet customer’s requirements and are available in various materials.
- Capacity up to 120m³/hr
- Pressure up to 11 bar
- Viscosity up to 1,00,000 cst
Roto’s Gear pumps work on the principles of positive displacement. When the gears rotate the meshed teeth of the Gear Pumps separate and a partial vacuum is formed that gets filled with liquid, the gears trap the liquid and move it from suction end to the discharge end.
